Argentium Senior Connections is honored to have such amazing group of visiting volunteers. For June, we are highlighting our Northwestern student volunteers. Over this past academic year, 27 Northwestern students, from undergrad to PhD, contributed over 850 hours to seniors in the Evanston community. Each weekly visit has made a big difference in their senior friend’s lives, from taking walks in the park and seeing the latest movies to sharing a meal with their favorite sandwiches and discussing literature, travels, and past adventures. “We've been reading through the books, and it's always fun to hear his insights and wisdom during that time,” shared by Alex, who has been visiting his friend John since the fall. Thank you all for being a friend!
We also say Congratulations to the nine of our volunteers who graduated! We wish them all the best of luck and hope they will continue to be inspired in their personal and professional lives by their volunteer experience and senior friend.
